Helping children to use their imaginations and make friends

We have continued to support families in the local area through our toy library provision.
The toy library offers families with babies to pre-school age children the opportunity to borrow toys for a few weeks for a small cost. This is excellent resource as every child of this age develops so quickly. You can borrow the toys that suit your child’s age and stage, then return them and chose something new to keep them stimulated. The good news is this is good for the planet too, plastic toys don’t decompose so the less of them in landfill the better! Mary Warren and Lynda Abram support this group serving hot drinks and Mary makes fresh bakes each week which is much enjoyed and appreciated by the group.
