This year has been one of ups and downs for the missions and outreach committee, sadly this year marks the last year for Peter Morgan as head of the committee, after many years of service. We will miss Peter although we will still see him most Sundays! Peter also has to miss his last mission Sunday service this year after coming down with Covid, although the show was able to go on without him.

This year the generosity of the congregations of St. John’s allowed the church to tithe over £9000. The money was shared between the charities: Flame International; Tutela Africa; SAT 7; Redeemer Primary School, Baghdad; One25 and Bibles for Children. One25 is a charity close to my heart and I am very grateful that the committee agreed to add it to our donating list this year.
