Food for the Soul
Every Sunday is family-friendly—children are well catered for so that parents can relax and replenish themselves.

Relaxed and informal with modern, lively music
Holy Communion – 3rd Sunday of the month.
Generally lasts an hour and 30 mins, and afterward….

Food for the Body
A ‘bring and share’ tea provided after each time we meet so no need to rush home.

Soul Food Lite


Every 5th Sunday – 10.30am – St John’s Church, Peasedown St John
Soul Food Lite gives our traditional morning congregation an opportunity to experience a liter version of Soul Food which is held every Sunday afternoon at 4.30pm at Peasedown St John Youth Centre. The service is more informal and contains sung worship, prayer, a talk and lasts for an hour. Worship is led by a small worship band and is contemporary in style.

We meet at St John’s Parish Church at 10.30am. Please join us we would love to welcome you to Soul Food Lite.

Soul Food Altogether


Four times a year (usually the 5th Sunday of the month) – 4.30pm – Peasedown St John Youth Centre
Soul Food Altogether gives the whole church family an opportunity to worship together. There is something for everybody craft and activities for the children as well as intellectual stimulus for the adults. We meet at Peasedown St John Youth Centre at 4.30pm for approximately an hour followed by a buffet style ‘bring and share’ tea. Please join us we would love to welcome you to Soul Food Altogether.
