Below are the various key features of the club:
Venue: St John’s Church, Church Lane, BA28AA. The venue provides a large, warm and friendly environment, where we hold our successful holiday clubs. There will be two adults who will collect your children from Peasedown Primary School and walk them to the church wearing hi-viz jackets and professionally risk assessed. It is only a few minutes walk from school to the club.
Days: 2 days a week consisting of Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Other days could be added if there was interest. Please so let us know if you are interested in other days. 01761 300410.
Time: 3.15pm – 6.15pm (2 hours or 3 hours)
Price: The cost for one afternoon (3 hours) will be £12 or £8 for 2 hours (which is £4 per hour). We would like people to pay online if possible. There are NO FEES to be paid on any orders placed.
Ages: We will only be taking Key Stage 1 & 2 children (Year 1 to Year 6).
Programme: We offer a fun and varied programme. This will include:
• A snack time – a snack of a sandwich/roll/wrap, fruit, crisps and drinks will be provided to help them through to dinner. We would observe all individual dietary requirements, as required.
• A fun sport/activity time – which will range from games like Mr Crocodile, various sports and our very own bouncy castle (mainly in the summer months).
• Chill out times – Which will include reading or watching age-appropriate films.
• Arts and crafts – having fun making various things.
The club is run by Sarah Carney and an additional helper. They will of course be fully vetted with all the legal requirements and checks in place. This will far exceed the government’s legal criteria. We will of course have all risk assessments, health and safety and food standards in place. We intend the Club to be both productive and fun, as well as safe and caring, running seamlessly between school and home.
